Terms of Use
Welcome to BookVerse. By accessing or purchasing from our website, you agree to the following Terms of Use. Please read them carefully before using our services.
1. General Information
This website is operated by BookVerse ("BookVerse", "we", "us", "our").
By visiting our site and/or purchasing from us, you engage in our service and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not access the website or use our services.
2. Products
BookVerse sells physical printed books only. We do not sell digital copies unless explicitly stated on the product page.
All product descriptions, pricing, and availability are subject to change without notice. We make every effort to display product details accurately. However, we cannot guarantee that your device's display will reflect the exact printed colours or design.
3. Orders & Acceptance
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons including but not limited to:
- Suspected fraud
- Pricing errors
- Payment authorisation issues
- Stock or fulfilment limitations
If your order is cancelled by us after payment, you will receive a full refund.
4. Pricing & Payments
All prices are listed in the currency displayed at checkout. We accept the secure payment methods available on our checkout page. All payments are processed through encrypted, secure third-party payment providers. BookVerse does not store your full payment details.
5. Shipping & Delivery
We dispatch orders from our UK depot, typically within 1 to 2 business days. Estimated delivery times are provided as a guide and may vary depending on location, carrier logistics, public holidays, and other external factors.
While carrier delivery schedules are outside our direct control, your order remains our responsibility until it reaches you. Full details of delivery timeframes, delays, and non-delivery are set out in our Shipping & Delivery Policy.
International orders may be subject to customs procedures in the destination country, which can affect delivery times. Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping information.
6. Returns & Refunds
Your rights to cancel, return, and obtain refunds are set out in full in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In summary, you may cancel within 14 days of receiving your order under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, and you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund for faulty items under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
To request a refund, contact us with your order details. Some requests may require the product to be returned, as explained in the Refund Policy. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

8. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and for your statutory rights as a consumer, which cannot be excluded or limited.
Subject to the above, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, BookVerse shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including loss of profits, that were not reasonably foreseeable. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your order shall not exceed the price paid for the product(s) ordered, except where a higher amount is required by law.
