Welcome to BookVerse. By accessing or purchasing from our website, you agree to the following Terms of Use. Please read them carefully before using our services.

1. General Information

This website is operated by Growup Digi Services Ltd, trading as BookVerse ("BookVerse", "we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 12230239, at 82a James Carter Road, Mildenhall, Bury St. Edmunds, England, IP28 7DE.

By visiting our site and/or purchasing from us, you engage in our service and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not access the website or use our services.

2. Products

BookVerse sells recipe books. Most titles are physical printed books, shipped to the address you give us at checkout. Where a title is a digital or printable edition, this is stated clearly in the product title and description, and the file is delivered by email or download link after payment. The format of each title is always shown on its product page before you buy.

All product descriptions, pricing and availability are subject to change without notice. We make every effort to display product details accurately. However, we cannot guarantee that your device's display will reflect the exact printed colours or design.

3. Orders & Acceptance

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons including but not limited to:

  • Suspected fraud
  • Pricing errors
  • Payment authorisation issues
  • Stock or fulfilment limitations

If your order is cancelled by us after payment, you will receive a full refund.

4. Pricing & Payments

All prices are listed in the currency displayed at checkout and include VAT where applicable. Delivery is charged separately and shown at checkout before you pay. We accept the secure payment methods available on our checkout page. All payments are processed through encrypted, secure third-party payment providers. BookVerse does not store your full payment details.

5. Shipping & Delivery

We dispatch orders from our unit in Mildenhall, Bury St Edmunds, within 1 to 2 business days. Estimated delivery is 7 to 15 business days from dispatch. Estimated delivery times are a guide and may vary depending on location, carrier logistics and public holidays.

While carrier delivery schedules are outside our direct control, your order remains our responsibility until it reaches you. Full details of delivery timeframes, costs, delays and non-delivery are set out in our Shipping & Delivery Policy.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping information.

6. Returns & Refunds

Your rights to cancel, return and obtain refunds are set out in full in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In summary, you may cancel within 14 days of receiving your order under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, and you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund for faulty items under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

To request a refund, contact us with your order details. Some requests may require the product to be returned, as explained in the Refund Policy. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including but not limited to text, images, logos, product descriptions and branding, is the property of BookVerse and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, copy, distribute or exploit any content without our written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and for your statutory rights as a consumer, which cannot be excluded or limited.

Subject to the above, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, BookVerse shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including loss of profits, that were not reasonably foreseeable. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your order shall not exceed the price paid for the product(s) ordered, except where a higher amount is required by law.

9. Website Use

You agree not to:

  • Use our website for unlawful purposes
  • Attempt to hack, disrupt or damage the website
  • Submit false or misleading information

Violation of these terms may result in termination of your access.

10. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Use at any time. Changes are effective immediately upon posting on this page and apply to your use of the website from that point onward. Changes do not apply retroactively to orders already placed, which remain governed by the Terms in effect at the time of your purchase.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
